Game Story In the year 1999, the mathematic biologist Dr. Shakuei Yoshiyama produced a female artifical lifeform in a computer system. This type of lifeform became known as C-Life. Dr. Yoshiyama fell in love with this C-Life girl. He entered the computer memory space himself to be with her, and the two bore a child. Because this child was half human and half C-Life, he could freely come and go between the real world and the digital world in computer spaces, as well as manipulate electricity. This boy became known as Pulseman. Around that time, however, criminal incidents began to occur in great number all around the world, perpetrated by the mysterious man Doc Waruyama and his association "Galaxy Gang." Now in the year 2015, Pulseman, with his partner Beatrice, stands against the evil ambitions of the evil scientist Doc Waruyama.

The game's protagonist. Being born of a human father and a C-Life mother he is "Half C-Life." Usually he resides in the memory space of the computer network. He has the ability to travel from television to television by riding the light, and he can even freely come and go in 3D CG world. Having the power to manipulate electricty, he can use it to attack. Of course, because of this attribute, he is hampered by water. |

She tends to be called Rice for short (pronounced RI-che). She is Pulseman's girlfriend. She lives in the bridge of the list computer, where she alerts Pulseman of crimes happening around the world. Originally she was a part of Galaxy Gang, but she met with Pulseman and was rescued by him from the organization. However, now that she is no longer under the affect of EUREKA, she can no longer substantiate. |

Leader of the secret organization Galaxy Gang, whose outrageous ambition is to take control of the entire galaxy. He considers himself to be the greatest godly genius scientist in all the galaxy. He separates himself from the common man, and always schemes on a grand and excessive scale. He invented the EUREKA system, which has the ability to substantiate a pure C-Life lifeform into the real world. |

Veil is Pulseman's rival. He was created by Doc Waruyama and considered to be his son, but he is pure C-Life. He has a thoroughly cool character about him, and he appears to exceed Pulseman's abilities in every aspect. He is the boss in stage 5, and because of Doc Waruyama's EUREKA system, he can substantiate into the real world. |
 Name: Dr. Shakuei Yoshiyama The creator of the C-Life lifeform, and father of Pulseman. There is really no available information about him, and it's unknown what became of him after Pulseman's birth. However, just going by what little the game presents, he does seem somehow connected to Doc Waruyama. Both have a slightly similar appearance, and both have a common thread in their names (yoshiyama means "good mountain" while waruyama means "bad mountain). It could be possible that Doc Waruyama was somehow created as a side affect of his entering the computer, as it does not appear Doc Waruyama is truly human. Regardless, the answer remains unknown. |
 Name: C-Life girl The C-Life lifeform Dr. Yoshiyama created, and fell in love with. She is of course the mother of Pulseman. Like Dr. Yoshiyama, there is no information available about her. |
